Mining and quarries
Our measuring instruments and accessories no longer have to prove their worth for large scale V.O.D tests, or for V.O.D measurements on the field. For more than 40 years, we have been working in close collaboration with Worldvide quarries to make field V.O.D measurements as simple and efficient as possible.
Fragmentation follows velocity
Detonation speed greatly influences rock fragmentation. Confirming the correct V.O.D of the product actually loaded in the hole saves drilling, explosive and crushing energy, and therefore money.
Bottom to top verification
Probes placed along the column show whether the charge detonated over its whole length and at what speed, revealing dead pressing, water ingress or incomplete initiation.
