Surface cables and EasyProbe system.
The EasyProbe System is the latest accessory from Kontinitro SA. Specifically designed for VOD measurements in blast holes, it uses fiber optic technology to collect five VOD measurements in a single shot. The measurement method is simple and effective: we use the light generated during the explosion to measure the velocity of detonation (VOD) of the explosive.

The EasyProbe cable
Unique in its kind, the EasyProbe cable was specially designed to record detonation speeds from the blast hole. Thanks to its six optical probes, it records five V.O.D measurements over a length of 4.5 meters, or 14.80 feet.
Apart from its ease of use, the blast hole cable is insensitive to electromagnetic fields and works in both dry and wet holes.

The Surface Cable
Specially designed for rough conditions, a MEMU can drive over it without causing any damage. His lenght is 50m or more.
With its plug made up of special connectors and reinforced optical fibers, the role of the Surface Cable is to transmit, without any loss, the data recorded during the firing to the Explomet.
